Pump Solutions Group (PSG®) has announced that its EnviroGear® line of internal gear pumps will be on display at ACHEMA in Hall 8.0, Stand L79.

ACHEMA 2012 is the largest chemical processing trade show in the world, and will be held June 18-22, 2012, in Frankfurt am Main in Germany.

EnviroGear pumps are ideal for many dangerous and demanding chemical product-transfer applications.

One such dangerous application is the transfer of all types of resins, including those that contain dicyclopentadiene (DCPD), styrene and methylmethacrylate (MMA).

Since many of the chemicals used in resin production are flammable and hazardous to health, any amount of product leakage during their handling and transfer, or their components, cannot be tolerated.

EnviroGear pumps meet the needs of this critical hazardous chemical-handling application because of their magnetically driven seal-less design, which eliminates any concern of seal failures that can hamper these types of operations.

Additionally, users of EnviroGear pumps benefit from the simple, one-fluid-chamber design, which features only seven primary parts and an optimized cooling path, as well its patented Eccentric Spindle, which provides between-the-bearing support with no corresponding cantilever load.

EnviroGear pumps are also easily interchangeable with competitive models.

EnviroGear® line of internal gear pumps are constructed of carbon steel, ductile iron or stainless steel with flow rates to 200 gpm (757 lpm) at a maximum of 640 rpm.

The have a differential-pressure range of 20 to 200 psi (0 to 13.8 bar), can operate in temperatures from -40ºF to 500ºF (-40ºC to 260ºC) and can handle product viscosities from 0.5 to 50,000 cst.
