JULABO staff and management established company guidelines with the support of external moderators. They were introduced to all employees at the end of April.

The new company guidelines are based on the first vision statement developed by JULABO in 2007. The new version is considerably shorter with simpler wording.

The design emphasizes two graphic elements for recognition: red focal circles on the front page and the JULABO house.

Ralf Wurth, member of the executive management and - among other things - responsible for personnel, compared the vision with a wrist watch: "Only the clock face and hands and the resulting time are outwardly visible. In a company these are the homepage, catalog and products. As a perfectly interlocking clockwork is operating behind the clock face, committed employees support JULABO’s objectives and values. The company guidelines boost functioning cooperation and meshing of the company’s wheels.”

The JULABO house is a symbol for the self-image of the company. The key foundations, and thus the basis, are the employees.

They support the four pillars with the themes responsibility, cooperation, target-orientated and future-oriented. The roof on the pillars stands for the clients and the success of the company.

On behalf of the works council Anita Schmid approved of the new company guidelines. "In our opinion the guidelines are an offer for reciprocity, an offer including wishes and demands on everybody participating in JULABO. Wishes and demands are the same for everyone.”

The managing director Markus Juchheim was enthusiastic about the new company guidelines. It is particularly important to him „… that JULABO is ruled by an open culture with flat hierarchies and respectful interaction between colleagues".

Furthermore Markus Juchheim stresses "... if we have clearly defined goals which are communicated to everyone, we will achieve a common understanding and quick results which lead to success and ultimately our customers’ confidence in our products".

The new company guides are an important contribution to the improvement of performance and services for customers in science, research and industry around the world.

After the presentation of the new company guidelines the entire JULABO Team demonstrated this fact during an exceptional photo session: "WE are JULABO".
