As market leader in manual patch clamping for over 30 years, Axon instruments are considered the gold standard for electrophysiology data acquisition and analysis.

Molecular Devices offers a highly evolved line of Axon microelectrode amplifiers for voltage recording, current clamps and voltage clamps, and patch clamping for ion channel research. The wide choice of headstages designed for specific applications and the many features that have been incorporated into the amplifiers make them ideal instruments on which to base an electrophysiology workstation. The amplifiers work in tandem with Molecular Devices' Digidata® 1550 Digitizer and pCLAMP™ Software.

On show at booth 146 will be:

• Axon Axoclamp™ 900A Microelectrode Amplifier - A complete microelectrode current clamp and voltage clamp amplifier, useful for a wide range of intracellular microelectrode recording techniques.

• Axon MultiClamp™ 700B Microelectrode Amplifier - A microelectrode amplifier that combines leading edge electronics design and a wealth of features and functions with an intuitive user interface that simplifies the creation of complex protocols.

• Axon Axopatch™ 200B Capacitor Feedback Patch Clamp Amplifier - The benchmark for single-channel recordings and other applications where an excellent signal-to-noise ratio is key.

• Axon Digidata® 1550 System - A low-noise data acquisition system for electrophysiology

• Axon Axoporator® 800A Electroporator - The world's first commercially available single-cell electroporator represents the convergence of biophysics, cell biology, and molecular biology.

• pCLAMP 10 Electrophysiology Data Acquisition and Analysis Software - Currently in version 10, pCLAMP™ Software fulfils many different experimental needs, such as synchronized stimulation, event detection, and online analysis. Three separate applications included are Clampex 10, AxoScope 10, and Clampfit 10.

Jeffrey Tang, Ph.D., Product Manager, Molecular Devices will be available on the booth (146) to discuss applications and answer questions.
