Mouvex® has announced that its SLC Series Eccentric Disc Pumps will be on display at ACHEMA in Hall 8.0, Stand F43 & L79.

ACHEMA 2012 is the largest chemical processing trade show in the world, and will be held June 18-22, 2012, in Frankfurt am Main in Germany.

Mouvex SLC Series eccentric disc pumps safely handle the most dangerous chemicals thanks to its design that requires no magnets, no mechanical seals or packing.

The ATEX-rated and TA Luft certified SLC Series eccentric disc pumps are rated for explosive environments and provide superior product containment.

The seal-less design allows the SLC Series to self-compensate for mechanical wear, giving the pumps the ability to maintain consistent flow rates over time.

The seal-less design also ensures total product containment-a critical part of handling dangerous chemicals such as isocyanates, acids, solvents and caustics. The SLC Series is also self-priming and can run-dry up to 10 minutes.

Other design features of SLC Series pumps are self-priming and line-stripping capabilities; dry-run operation for up to 10 minutes; low shear rate; high vacuum and compression effect; a reduced number of components; reduced maintenance; and clean-in-place (CIP) / sanitize-in-place (SIP) capabilities.

All three SLC models have speeds up to 1,000 rpms with flow rates from 4.4 gpm (1 m3/h) to 13.2 gpm (3 m3/h), and differential pressures from 87 psi (6 bar) to 232 psi (16 bar).

SLC pumps are available in stainless steel and ductile iron models capable of handling up to 10,000 cst (46,000 SSU) liquids and working pressures up to 130 psi (9 bar), depending on model.
