Nanostream announces new assay applications for the Nanostream LD System. Nanostream scientists continue to pioneer assay data for a range of biological assays performed using the Nanostream LD System, an automated assay detection platform.

By employing micro parallel liquid chromatography, the Nanostream LD System analyzes and detects the conversion of a fluorescently-labeled substrate to a phosphorylated product at a rate of 10% or less for assays throughout the entire screening process - from target identification to lead optimization.

New biological assays demonstrated include:

• Cytochrome P450 Assay (label-free)
• Glucokinase Assay
• Glycogen Synthase Kinase 3? Assay
• Matrix Metalloproteinase 7 (MMP-7) Assay
• Sphingomyelinase Assay
• Substrate Specificity
• Hierarchal Phosphorylation
• Mode of Enzyme Inhibition

According to Nanostream, data generated from the above assays proves the Nanostream LD System’s ability to reduce time for assay design and development, to detect low enzymatic conversion and to conduct experiments with a simple and fast workflow.
