These new units record up to 30 days of temperature and humidity, or temperature data only and transmit the information wirelessly, eliminating the need for a physical connection.
"Readings can be broadcast to any apple or android smartphone or device with Bluetooth 4.0 or better at distances up to approximately 40 meters utilizing the free THERMSmart app," explained Staci Hiergesell, Product Manager for SP Scienceware.
Hourly data is recorded for up to seven days, then maximum and minimum temperatures (model B60911-0100) or temperature and humidity data (model B61506-5100) are recorded for the next 23 days. An alarm will sound if the temperature falls outside of the set parameters.
"Data is viewable as a chart or graph, or on a calendar, and data from up to six data loggers can be plotted on one graph for direct comparison," added Hiergesell. "Data can also be downloaded as a CSV file if needed."
Both models include a Certificate of Compliance indicating accuracy for 4 temperature points or 4 temperature and 3 humidity points. They are individually serialized, CE marked and RoHS compliant.
