Visitors to this year's Achema will be able to see, in depth, Rockwell Automation’s plant-wide solution for the process industry. Achema will also see the launch of FactoryTalk® Pharma Suite, a solution that helps manufacturers in FDA-regulated industries to lower risk and achieve operational excellence.

Rockwell Automation® will use Achema to show the new PlantPAx™ System – a portfolio of products, services and partner solutions that address the needs and concerns of a variety of industries.

The company's booth will highlight how different facets of the PlantPAx suite can be joined and interlinked, via the company's Integrated Architecture™ technology to address bespoke process applications.

Visitors will be able to see Rockwell Automation’s capability to offer a comprehensive, fully integrated process management solutions and services. A number of industry- and technology-specific specialists will also be available to discuss exact needs and issues relating to specific applications.

Rockwell Automation will be also using Achema for the launch of FactoryTalk Pharma Suite, Release V1.1, a software suite that covers processes in research and development, clinical manufacturing and commercial manufacturing.

FactoryTalk Pharma Suite includes pre-defined weighing workflows that guide operators step by step through the process. The track & trace functionality provides complete, correct and electronic documentation of all materials, equipment and personnel involved in the process. The system automatically detects and records deviations from pre-defined processes and specifications. This allows reviewing batch records by exception, which can help reduce review efforts and time for investigations.

Visitors to the stand will also be able to see the latest developments that have stemmed from the acquisitions that the company has made. These include FactoryTalk® VantagePoint (formerly Incuity EMI), an EMI and manufacturing reporting application that allows end users to self-configure content-rich, web-based dashboards, trends and reports without expensive, time-consuming support resource.

Technology will also be showcased through modular solutions for solvent-recovery systems (ProsCon) and ICS Triplex, a company that develops, manufactures and maintains fault-tolerant control systems, control products and automation control software.

To complement the Rockwell Automation process industry demonstrations, visitors will also see technology pods; featuring technologies from leading Solution Providers in the process industry and from Rockwell Automation's own Solutions Services Business.

Further demonstrations will be given by Rockwell Automation’s strategic partner, Endress+Hauser who, using a three-tank simulator, will show how users can precisely measure, evaluate and control mixing and dosing applications using Endress+Hauser sensors linked to a Rockwell Automation Digital Blending solution.
