Thermo Electron Introduces a New Electronic Pipette

Thermo Electron Corporation introduces the Finnpipette® Novus. This ergonomically-designed electronic pipette provides control over basic and advanced pipetting functions. The lightweight Finnpipette Novus design is based on the results of ergonomics studies and customer feedback. The Finnpipette features a 2-level menu that includes 10 different pipetting options and is programmable for advanced functions, such as pipette and count, sequential stepper, and mix and dilute. The pipette also boasts a text-guided graphical user interface and clear display. The lightweight battery allows 4,000 pipetting cycles, can be recharged in 1 hour, and stays charged for 2 weeks. The long, unobtrusive cable allows the Finnpipette Novus to be used while recharging the battery. The Novus is the latest pipette in Thermo's large portfolio of Finnpipettes, including single channel, multi-channel, electronic, and manual pipettes.
