Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc., has introduced a new Thermo Scientific Nunc 14 ml round bottom tube for critical cellular applications. Produced under ISO 13485 conditions with full lot traceability, each tube is certified sterile (SAL 10-6), non-pyrogenic and USP Class VI tested to ensure cellular integrity and viability is effectively maintained for even the most sensitive applications.

Composed of optically clear polystyrene, the tube has molded graduations in 0.5 ml increments, allowing clear visualization for accurately determining reagent volumes. The vent/close dual position low-density polyethylene cap provides the flexibility to switch between secure manual venting or an airtight seal.

Each lot of the Nunc™ 14 ml round bottom tube is mouse embryo assay (MEA) tested and certified non-pyrogenic at less than 20 endotoxin units per device (0.5 endotoxin units per ml). Stringent testing and certification protocols also require the tube to pass the USP biological reactivity test and standards for cytotoxicity. The tube is conveniently shipped in packs of 10 with peelable Tyvek® lids. As a result, this highly certified tube is ideal for critical cellular applications.
