Wilden® has announced that its Wilden® Advanced™ Series AODD Pumps safely handle and transfer the most dangerous chemicals, including acids, solvents and caustics.

Advanced™ Series AODD Pumps are ATEX-rated, which certifies the pump for use in hazardous or dangerous environments.

Wilden’s Advanced™ Series AODD Pumps will be on display at ACHEMA in Hall 8.0, Stand L79.

ACHEMA 2012 is the largest chemical processing trade show in the world, and will be held June 18-22, 2012, in Frankfurt am Main in Germany.

The global chemicals industry is facing stricter regulations, with greater emphasis being placed on identifying and containing chemicals that could potentially pose a threat to human life and the environment.

Wilden’s Advanced™ Series AODD Pumps, available in PP and PVDF, provide superior containment since the pumps do not have a mechanical seal or packing that can fail and lead to costly leakage.

The pumps also feature a bolted design and single-piece integral piston diaphragm, which eliminates a potential leak point.

Full stroke PTFE diaphragms provide increased product displacement per stroke, resulting in greater flow rates and higher efficiencies compared to pumps that rely on reduced-stroke PTFE diaphragms.

A drop-in design allows the pump to be installed into an existing pump footprint without the need to disturb the piping, resulting in reduced maintenance costs and system downtime.

Advanced™ Series AODD Pumps also feature the innovative Pro-Flo X™ Air Distribution System with Efficiency Management System (EMS™), which allows the operator to dial in the actual operational parameters regardless of the application demands or pump size.
