Label free technology: the weird and wonderful world of cell signaling
Whilst conducting an evaluation of label free technology platforms we
encountered a number of surprising, but reproducible, observations. For
example, receptor over-expression impacts endogenous signaling
responses; surface coatings affecting cell adherence can change the
response profile; and it is important to choose the appropriate analysis
metric for complex profiles. Awareness of the subtleties of cell signaling
within model systems such as CHO and HEK recombinant over-expression

Highly Efficient High-Throughput Transfection
Successful RNAi experiments and large-scale siRNA screens require efficient delivery of highly functional and specific nucleic acids including siRNA oligonucleotides, shRNA vectors, or micro RNAs into an appropriate cell system. Cell types relevant for immunological research, such as primary T cells and several suspension cell lines, are poorly accessible using reagent-based transfection approaches.

Label-free Profiling of Ligands for Endogenous GPCRs Using a Cell-Based High Throughput Screening Technology
The activation of GPCRs is known to lead to the dynamic translocation of multiple signaling molecules or molecular assemblies during its signaling cycle, and in many cases cytoskelatal reorganization. Such a movement and/or reorganization results in dynamic redistribution of cellular contents, equivalent to dynamic mass redistribution (DMR), which can be monitored online in living cells using Corning® Epic™ system – a label-free and non-invasive biosensor system.
