Nanoscience and Drug Delivery – Small Particles for Big Problems

Video   Mar 12, 2019 | Taken from TEDx Talks, YouTube

Getting sufficient therapeutic drugs to the precise disease cell would reduce the amount of medication required; reduce side effects; and enhance treatment. Taylor Mabe explores the use of nano-particles for this purpose.

Taylor Mabe is a doctoral student in the NC A&T/UNC Greensboro Joint School of Nanoscience and Nanoengineering in Greensboro NC. His interests are in the delivery of medicines through nano-particles to increase medication effectiveness and reduce side effects.
