About the Speaker
Aaron Beeler received his B.S. from Belmont University in Biology in 1998 and his Ph.D. in 2002 from Professor John Rimoldiā€™s laboratory in the Department of Medicinal Chemistry at the University of Mississippi. He then joined Professor John Porco's group as a postodoctoral fellow and subsequently the Center for Chemical Methodology and Library Development at Boston University (CMLD-BU). He was promoted to Associate Director of the CMLD-BU in January 2005. In 2012 Aaron joined the Department of Chemistry as an Assistant Professor in medicinal chemistry.
AbstractThis lecture will focus on the development of a flow photochemical platform and a number of photochemical reactions that have been explored in the Beeler Research Group.
