About the Speaker
Aaron Beeler received his B.S. from Belmont University in Biology in 1998 and his Ph.D. in 2002 from Professor John Rimoldi’s laboratory in the Department of Medicinal Chemistry at the University of Mississippi. He then joined Professor John Porco's group as a postodoctoral fellow and subsequently the Center for Chemical Methodology and Library Development at Boston University (CMLD-BU). He was promoted to Associate Director of the CMLD-BU in January 2005. In 2012 Aaron joined the Department of Chemistry as an Assistant Professor in medicinal chemistry.
AbstractThis lecture will focus on the development of a flow photochemical platform and a number of photochemical reactions that have been explored in the Beeler Research Group.
