Live Webinar on Single-Cell Cloning of Edited hiPS Cells

Live Webinar on Single-Cell Cloning of Edited hiPS Cells

Recent progress in gene editing technology has made it possible to introduce targeted genetic alterations in cells and organisms. These methods are being applied in human induced pluripotent stem (hiPS) cells; however, a major barrier remains at the level of selecting single cells with the desired mutations as hiPS cells typically survive only in colonies and/or on feeder cells.

The Cellartis® DEF-CS™ Culture System promotes reliable growth of cells in monolayer and single-cell culture. It is therefore an ideal choice for genome editing expriments in iPS cells.

In this webinar, Dr. Michael Elser, Takara Bio Europe, will demonstrate:

- How to perform single-cell cloning by serial dilution using the DEF-CS culture system,

- Clonal expansion from single-cell to primary clonal colonies,

- Preservation of the stemness of the cloned cells.
