Conference Recording Jan 20, 2014
About the SpeakerDr. Tinazli's academic work resulted in publications in various high impact journals in the field of nanotechnology, cell biology, and single-molecule biochemistry. After his Ph.D. in 2006 he joined the Corporate Business Development team of Applied Biosystems. In 2012 Dr. Tinazli opened the official US office for Sony DADC BioSciences in Cambridge, MA and is heading the American business. The acceleration of the adoption rate of new technologies in the medical markets is his main interest.
AbstractSmart Consumables with microscale or supreme optical features are prerequisites for emerging applications in the biomedical markets. The increasing complexity of such new products requires new manufacturing technologies. Sony DADC BioSciences offers development, manufacture and supply of polymer-based smart consumables to OEM partners. Specializing in customized mass manufacturing of highly sophisticated consumables, Sony DADC actively applies expertise in innovation to offer state-of-the-art solutions to the biomedical market. Smart polymer-based consumables have been created to solve a variety of experimental assay problems. Applications in high-throughput screening in genomics, in-vitro diagnostics, and single cell assays will be presented.
