Nina Garrett profile page

Nina Garrett has over 23 years' experience in lateral flow research and development and has held a number of senior technical roles throughout her career at some of the big-name global diagnostics firms in the market. Nina joined Abingdon in 2019 and was appointed R&D Director in 2020, overseeing all proof of concept and new product development projects. Nina’s speciality is leading R&D development teams to successful project completion and commercialisation of products. Nina was promoted to CTO in 2023 to lead our technical R&D teams, following a period of realignment across the business to an integrated CRO/CDMO model, delivering projects for a diverse customer base across multiple industry sectors (including clinical, healthcare, pharmaceutical, animal health, environmental, bio-security and agri-food) with end users in both self-test and point of care environments.
