BlueGnome Ranked the Fastest Growing Biotechnology Company in Cambridgeshire

BlueGnome’s continued growth has been recognized by The Deloitte Technology Fast 50, one of the UK’s foremost technology award programmes. BlueGnome was ranked the fastest growing biotechnology company in Cambridgeshire and 20th in the UK across all sectors.
Commenting on the award Nick Haan, CEO, said ‘This award recognizes BlueGnome’s evolution as a major supplier of solutions for the investigation of genetic disease. To achieve this level of sales growth, while also remaining profitable, is a testament to the fantastic team that we have at BlueGnome here in Cambridge and at our office in the United States.’
Graham Snudden, VP Engineering, added ‘By selectively combining the very best and latest technology with excellent customer service we have enabled our customers to use recent scientific breakthroughs to massively improve the quality of their genetic services. With over 80% of sales now outside the UK we anticipate continued growth in the next 12 months and a return appearance on next year’s Fast 50.’
The Fast 50 ranks the fastest growing technology companies in the UK based on percentage growth in revenues over five years. BlueGnome’s growth rate is reflected in the company’s recent physical expansion with a doubling of office space and production capacity at their Cambridge headquarters.
