Expression Analysis Purchases its First Illumina Genome Analyzer

Illumina has announced that Expression Analysis, an Illumina certified service provider (CSPro) has purchased its first Genome Analyzer. With this purchase, Expression Analysis becomes the only CSPro that owns all four of Illumina's genomic research platforms: Genome Analyzer, iScan, BeadStation, and BeadXpress.
"We continue to invest in Illumina's technology because of the significant client demand for their genomic research platforms," said Steve McPhail, President and CEO of Expression Analysis.
"At next week's Plant and Animal Genome Conference we will launch our new agricultural genomics services offering. The Genome Analyzer plays a critical role in this program because of its ability to offer a broad range of sequencing applications to support comprehensive DNA, gene expression and regulation, and epigenomics-based studies, for this market segment."
