Ludesi AB, a global provider of bioinformatics solutions to the life science industry, will be presenting and exhibiting at the HUPO 5th Annual World Congress, a meeting gathering top life science researchers from all over the world.

The HUPO congress, organized by The Human Proteome Organization, is being held in Long Beach, USA, October 28th to November 1st, 2006 and is one of the most influential conferences in the field of proteomics.

The HUPO World Congress is the biggest and most important proteomics meeting in 2006, gathering thousands of scientists from well-renown research organizations worldwide.

Ludesi will participate in the exhibition as well as give a scientific symposium titled “Cross-over expression proteomics technologies for maximum discovery potential” together with leading scientists from Johns Hopkins University.

“World-leading proteomics scientists will visit this meeting to showcase the progress of their research. It is important for us to be there in order to meet our customers and communicate how our solutions can improve their research”, comments Ola Forsstrom-Olsson, CEO of Ludesi.

“Ludesi’s technology can help scientists to find relevant information about protein changes that is usually lost because of errors made in an analysis performed with conventional 2D gel software. Our solutions dramatically changes the possibilities of what they can achieve in 2D gel electrophoresis”, concludes Mr. Forsstrom-Olsson.

Ludesi’s current offering for two-dimensional gel electrophoresis is based on proprietary software technology for advanced mathematical imaging and an analysis center performing quality-controlled image analysis of 2D gels.
