Analytik Ltd, in collaboration with Chrom Solutions Ltd, has announced the availability of a Solid Phase Extraction course tailored to meet the needs of chromatographers required to prepare samples for pharmaceutical bioanalysis.

This one day course consists of a background introduction to the general principles of SPE, and then deals with issues specific to pharmaceutical bioanalysis, in particular method development strategies for high sample throughput in LC/MS and/or LC/MS/MS.

This course therefore focuses on ways to quickly and efficiently extract compounds from biological samples.

A number of topics are covered including discussion about the wide range of SPE phases available, and their application to particular sample and compound types.

In addition, discussion is also given to emerging technologies and developments in this field, for example molecular imprinted polymers (MIPs).

Analytik claims that, this course is ideal for scientists who are new to chromatography and/or SPE, or for those requiring a refresher course on the subject and an update on the latest technologies.
