VWR Selects GenScript as a CRO Partner for Genomics and Proteomics

International research outsourcing company GenScript Corporation has been added to VWR Biosciences' list of molecular biology partners in both proteomics and genomics.
VWR distributes laboratory supplies, chemicals, reagents, equipment and lab furniture to life science laboratories in academia and industry. Among other services to the molecular biology community, VWR Biosciences evaluates and recommends contract research companies providing the quality services.
GenScript representatives believe that this collaborative effort will make their services more accessible to scientists worldwide.
GenScript Corporation has been endorsed for its custom gene synthesis, custom molecular biology services, custom peptide synthesis, custom protein services, and custom antibody production.
As genome editing technologies advance toward clinical therapies, they are raising hopes of a completely new way to treat disease. However, challenges need to be addressed before potential treatments can be widely used in patients. To tackle these challenges, the National Institutes of Health has launched the Somatic Cell Genome Editing program, which has awarded multiple grants including more than $3.6 million to assess the safety of genome editing in human cells and tissues.
