Functional Proteomic Signatures of the Ubiquitin/Proteasome Pathway

We present preliminary findings on the application of of a new surface library, SeraFILE™, to the functional characterization of the Ubiquitin/Proteasome pathway. Important results are: markedly contrasted signatures of matched cancer to normal adjacent tissue, differential pools of proteasome regions and regulatory factors, altered catalytic rates, evidence of conformational isoforms resistant to small molecule inhibitors, and evidence of soluble regulatory factors.
When there is a need to quickly analyze samples using a number of different PCR assays, it is likely that optimal conditions for each assay will not be the same. First, different assays often will require different annealing temperatures for their primers.
