Spinocerebellar ataxia type 1(SCA1) is an inherited cerebellar neurodegenerative disorder caused by a polyglutamine tract expansion in the ataxin-1 protein.
When there is a need to quickly analyze samples using a number of different PCR assays, it is likely that optimal conditions for each assay will not be the same.
