AOAC is an independent, third party organization, which brings credibility to analytical methods used for regulation or for demonstrating regulatory compliance.

Bioo Scientific is committed to helping companies implement methods that make it easier and more cost-effective to identify and eliminate contaminants from our food supply. Their presence at the upcoming AOAC Annual Meeting gives Bioo Scientific the opportunity to meet with prospective customers and introduce them to the latest advances in food and feed safety testing.

At booth number 617, Bioo Scientific is showcasing testing solutions for a number of applications including rapid strip tests for histamine detection in seafood, milk, wine and cheese, aflatoxin M1 in milk, and fluoroquinolone in milk and meat. Additionally, the MaxSignal® ELISAs for the analysis of carbendazim in juice and honey and malachite green in seafood will be introduced along with their complete portfolio of food safety products.

Everyone is invited to visit Bioo Scientific’s poster “Sensitive Dipstick Indicator for the Detection of Histamine in Food and Beverage Samples” which Dr. Joe Krebs, the Director of Protein Engineering and Chemistry at Bioo Scientific, will present on October 2nd between 10:00 am and 5:00 pm.

Additionally, representatives from Bioo Scientific will be available to answer questions about their extensive product line of kits for the detection of veterinary drugs, toxins, pesticides, pathogens and industrial contaminants in food and feed samples. They will also be available to discuss upcoming next generation sequencing applications in the Food and Feed industry.
