Exiqon A/S, has announced the launch of a new powerful version of the qPCR data analysis software which enables fast processing of high throughput qPCR data.

The new software, made by MultiD, simplifies the data analysis flow by introducing a new data import wizard that enables automatic annotation of different miRNA assays and direct import of instrument data files.

The software is equally suitable for low and high throughput data analysis as it allows for batch-mode analysis of several hundred data files.

As an integrated part of the data analysis flow, the software also incorporates Exiqon’s innovative quality control assays ensuring inter-plate calibration and quality checks for potential presence of sample derived inhibitors of the RT and PCR reactions.

Normalization is easily made to stably expressed reference genes or if preferred, to the global mean of all expressed microRNAs. Selection of reference genes and stability testing is fully integrated in the data analysis process.

Multiple statistical analyses, from simple t-tests to advanced PCA and heat map plots, are simple to apply and automatically create advanced publication ready figures.

As part of the data analysis it is even possible to retrieve database information from various databases such as miRBase, miRtarget, miRtissue etc.

“With this launch, Exiqon now offers a very intuitive data analysis solution that is tailored to all our Ready-to-Use PCR Panel products and the recently launched Pick & Mix qPCR product line”, said Vice President Sales & Marketing, Dr. Henrik M. Pfundheller and added: “The new software comes with a wizard that guides the user through even very advanced qPCR data analyses”.
