EA, has announced that they will host a series of webinars to help researchers gain insight into emerging DNA sequencing applications - “Best Practices for Emerging Applications in DNA Sequencing.”
The series will kick-off on August 17th at 1:00 EST. Webinar participation is free and open to all but advanced registration is required: www.expressionanalysis.com/webinars.
The August webinar will focus on optimization of mRNA sequencing relevant to current microarray platforms. Presenting the program will be Joel Parker, Ph.D, Principal Scientist at EA.
Dr. Parker has been with EA for the past four years and is a recognized leader in bioinformatics with over 70 scientific publications and more than 9900 citations.
Dr. Parker will share data comparing the performance of various mRNA-Seq strategies to microarrays in a breast cancer cell line dataset.
The second in the series is scheduled for September 21st at 1:00 PM EST and will focus on data generated on the PacBio RS platform.
