Gene Logic Announces Launch of Illumina SNP Genotyping Services

Gene Logic has expanded its range of service offerings with the purchase of an Illumina iScan system. The system will be used with the recently released high density Infinium HD assays, Illumina’s advanced assays, as well as their whole genome expression and methylation technologies.

This technology provides clients with another option for Genome Wide Association Studies and determination of chromosomal Copy Number Variation in DNA samples.

Combined with Gene Logic’s platforms for fine mapping and individual SNP detection, the Illumina iScan system further extends Gene Logic’s genotyping and gene expression profiling capabilities.
