Genisphere Introduces the RampUP™ Two-round Linear RNA Amplification Kit

Genisphere Inc., introduces the RampUP™ two-round linear RNA amplification kit. The RampUP kit is designed to be used with 10pg to 10ng intact or degraded RNA samples, such as those extracted from Formalin Fixed Paraffin Embedded (FFPE) tissues or collected from 1-1000 cells through Laser Capture Microdissection.
The RampUP kit employs a new proprietary technology based on the use of Tandem RNA Polymerase Promoters, TRPP, which streamlines the procedure, making two rounds of amplification as easy and accurate as one.
Product testing has shown that RNA amplified using RampUP demonstrates >91% gene expression concordance compared to Affymetrix standard labeling. The robust RampUP protocol yields amplified RNA adaptable to any RNA expression platform, such as qRT-PCR, glass microarrays, or Affymetrix GeneChips.
