Hamamatsu Photonics introduce the member of its TG series of mini-spectrometers, the C11118GA. The new TG NIR spectrometer module expands on the existing Hamamatsu range and adopts a low noise InGaAs image sensor, specially selected to match the optical arrangement.

The C11118GA is optimized for NIR operation and works in the 0.9 µm to 2.55 µm waveband. This new module provides sensitivity and the furthest response in the IR compared to other products on the market.

The module consists of a palm-top size polychromator, integrated with optical elements. The cooled InGaAs image sensor is optimized for the required wavelength range and comes with an image sensor driver circuit.

The spectrometer module includes both sample software, DLL library and an integrated USB 2.0 interface. PC connection and data acquisition are easy as the user can set measurement conditions, acquire and save data and can generate graphical displays.
