LINK is now offering substantial discounts through specially selected product bundles. Responding to its users’ needs for low-cost easy access reagents, LINK has created each bundle to provide scientists with both established and new reagents to evaluate, while saving up to 40% off list price. Users can therefore identify a bundle that covers their area of need, order directly through the LINK website, and test both established and newly developed reagents for optimised performance in their application.

There are five bundles currently available, each covering a different area of application. The 3’-Quencher bundle is ideal for optimising RT assays, enabling users to find the best performing quencher for their fluorophore. This includes 3’-amino-C7 support for those users who have developed their own quencher and need to compare with known quenchers.

The FAM/quencher bundle contains a combination of both FAM modifiers and the quenchers that work most efficiently with FAM. The variety provides the means of placing the FAM at various or multiple points within the sequence.

The Thiol Modifiers bundle enables a user to evaluate linker length and position within an oligonucleotide. This bundle is particularly flexible with the use of 3’-thiol C3 S-S CPG, BzS-dT, and TrS-C6, enabling orthogonal deprotection and labelling at three sites within the oligonucleotide.

The Delivery Reagents bundle contains a range of modifiers for oligonucleotide delivery/uptake into cells. These are ideal for modifying and testing oligonucleotides for increased cellular uptake.

Finally, the PNA Products bundle includes all the tools required to synthesise PNA oligonucleotides. In addition to the popular Fmoc/Bhoc monomers, it contains linkers that enable the user to modify their oligonucleotide further using, for example, fluorophores or haptens. Alternatively, through use of the included thiol linkers, the PNA oligonucleotide can be attached to a gold or silver surface.

Commenting on the introduction of these new bundles, Dr Michaela Downie, Head of Sales at LINK, says: “We understand that testing multiple products from a particular range can be expensive. Developing these new bundles, each for a specific application, ensures that our customers have affordable access to each reagent for testing in their application. Offering savings up to 40% off list price makes even new products accessible to all.”
