Parker’s patented isolated valve coil provides miniature size and optimum weight ensuring minimal system volume with excellent gas control stability from 1 SCCM to 6.5 SLPM. Available with .007” (.178 mm) or .011” (.028 mm) orifice, each VSO® LowPro GC is cleaned for analytical service with simple manifold mounting interface, built-in filtration and a choice of FKM or FFKM elastomers. Rated to over 100 million cycles, VSO® LowPro GC is ideal for analytical instruments where temperature ranges require a -4 to +185 F (-20 to +85 C) operating environment.

“In ongoing discussions with our OEMs in the Process and Lab Analytics industry, customers want to save space while maximizing performance across all their portable, lab and process GC product platforms,” said Allen Hood, division marketing development manager, Precision Fluidics Division. “Utilizing the product footprint of our ever popular VSO® LowPro, we challenged our design team to isolate the valve coil from the process media across a dynamic temperature range. Parker is pleased to offer our customers a robust thermally isolated proportional valve at half the size and weight of the current market.”

The VSO® LowPro GC will be manufactured at Parker’s Precision Fluidics facility in Hollis, New Hampshire.
