Norgen Launches Kits for Nucleic Acid and Protein Purification

Norgen Biotek has announced the expansion of its nucleic acid and protein purification and clean up products by launching four kits: the Endotoxin Removal Kits for DNA (mini and maxi formats) and the ProteoSpin™ Endotoxin Removal Kits for proteins and peptides (micro and maxi formats).

These kits allow for the removal of endotoxins from DNA, proteins and peptides in three steps.

These kits are characterized by their effective removal of endotoxins coupled with their high recovery of the biological of interest.

Efficient removal of endotoxins from DNA, proteins and peptides is a key first step before injecting such macromolecules into animals for raising antibodies and vaccination.

In addition, removing endotoxins from DNA enhances the efficiency of cell culture transfections.

These kits have been designed and optimized to remove endotoxins from DNA, proteins and peptides while maintaining high recovery rates for the macromolecule.
