Bookending their award winning software, Partek® Genomics Suite™, Partek Flow provides upstream alignment, QA/QC and quantification of next generation sequencing (NGS) data, whereas Partek Pathway provides contextualization of the gene relationships identified within Partek Genomics Suite. This evolution by Partek not only provides a seamless, economical solution, but also makes Partek the only comprehensive start-to-finish solution for NGS data analysis providing alignment, QA/QC, exploratory analysis, statistical analysis, interactive visualization, genomic integration, and biological interpretation. Additionally it supports raw data from all major commercial NGS and microarray technologies and the five core assays: RNA, DNA, microRNA, ChIP, and Methylation.

To accommodate the ever-growing size of genomic data and the computing power needed to process it, Partek designed Partek Flow to be installed on a desktop, cluster, or cloud environment. This flexibility provides the user access to their data from a browser anywhere in the world, and enhanced collaboration between users. With an intuitive user interface, automatic history recording, the ability to schedule tasks to run when resources are available, and receive an email notification upon completion, Partek Flow helps scientists and informaticists to make the most efficient use of both their time and their computing resources.

On the back end of NGS analysis, Partek Pathway allows users to study gene-gene and gene-protein relationships with the ability to identify and display significantly affected pathways, search for specific pathways and genes, and color code them based on their p-values and fold changes. Additionally, it has an interactive pathway browser and links to other online databases allowing users to make comparisons to and leverage other research findings.

Tom Downey, President of Partek Incorporated had this to say about their exciting product release, “With Flow, PGS, and Pathway, we’ve really set ourselves apart by providing a true start-to-finish solution for genomic studies based on any of today’s technologies. Not only do we support the analysis of all major assay types, but we facilitate collaboration, ease-of-use, and fantastic reporting capabilities.”
