Porvair Announces Range of Microplate Heat Seals
Porvair Sciences Ltd., has released literature describing their comprehensive range of films and foils that enable high integrity heat sealing of microplates.
The range of sealing films and foils offer a method for sealing 24-, 48-, 96-, 384- and 1536-well microplates. Sealing a microplate minimises evaporation and provides protection for samples during assay, storage, and shipment.
Fully compatible with almost all commercially available microplate heat sealers - Porvair's range of thermal seals enable deep well, shallow well, PCR and assay plates as well as polystyrene tubes to be sealed with a specially prepared pierceable film or foil.
The range of 6 thermal sealing products includes a clear film for fluorometric and colorimetric assays, an aluminium foil for sample storage and an aluminium backed polypropylene foil for PCR work.
The product range includes 25 metre length sample rolls for evaluation and testing up to 600 metre rolls that provide a solutions for high volume microplate sealing.
