QIAGEN’s AllStars Hs Cell Death Control siRNA is the latest addition to the AllStars portfolio of RNAi controls. AllStars Hs Cell Death Control siRNA targets ubiquitous human cell survival genes.

Transfection of this siRNA blend results in a high degree of cell death which is visible by light microscopy, making it a tool for siRNA transfection optimization and routine positive control experiments.

AllStars Hs Cell Death Control siRNA has been functionally validated in a wide range of human cell lines and primary cells. This control siRNA enables RNAi start-up experiments in which multiple transfections are performed to determine optimal conditions.

In high-throughput RNAi screens, AllStars Hs Cell Death Control siRNA can be used as an internal positive control to ensure that optimal transfection conditions are maintained on every plate. Simple phenotypic analysis using light microscopy to observe the extent of cell death.

AllStars Hs Cell Death Control siRNA can be ordered in tubes in 1-nmol, 5-nmol, or 20-nmol amounts, or in 96-well plates in 1-nmol, 0.25-nmol, or 0.1-nmol amounts.
