Tosoh Bioscience wins Excellence Award at Pittcon 2019 in its Third Annual Excellence Awards

Tosoh Bioscience LLC, a provider of chromatographic solutions for the separation of biomolecules, received the Silver Award in Excellence for Instrumentation at Pittcon Today’s 2019 Excellence Awards for the TSKgel FcR-IIIA-NPR affinity HPLC column. This column was designed for fast evaluation of ADCC activity of monoclonal antibodies (mAbs). Pittcon Today’s Excellence Awards recognize innovations at the 2019 Pittcon Exposition.
A panel of judges – consisting of thought leaders from across academia, industry and trade media – viewed all types of scientific innovations and selected this year’s winners based on submissions’ ingenuity, creativity, implementation and outcomes, as well as the products’ projected impact on the industry. Out of a diverse pool of product submissions, the TSKgel FcR-IIIA-NPR column received a Silver Award in Excellence for Instrumentation award on Tuesday, March 19th from Pittcon Today representatives. Tosoh Bioscience introduced the TSKgel FcR-IIIA-NPR column to customers in February 2019.
“We are very excited that the judges from the award panel acknowledged the innovative capabilities of the TSKgel FcR-IIIA-NPR column and we are pleased to receive such an esteemed honor,” said Cara Tomasek, Leader of the Product Management Group. “As the biopharma industry grows, more researchers will look for a product that can accomplish a rapid thirty-minute separation and provide a fast and efficient method to access the biologic activity of a large number of mAb samples. The TSKgel FcR-IIIA-NPR column is the ideal solution to be used in many phases of development and production such as in cell line screening in early R&D, biosimilar/originator comparison, upstream development and optimization, monitoring of glycoengineering and lot-to-lot comparison in QC.”
