TruSentry™, a first-of-its-kind system for high-throughput screening, brings together the Tecan® EVO 200 liquid handling system with Akonni TruTip™ and TruArray® technologies for rapid, low-cost, and highly-multiplexed genetic testing.
The fully automated, sample-to-answer platform significantly increases throughput as compared to other systems, and will process from 8 to more than 3,000 samples per day.
Currently for research use only, the highly modular nature of TruSentry™ enables scientists to more rapidly screen for bacterial and viral pathogens in a broader range of samples, and to more quickly develop new, low-cost, screening assays for regionally unique infectious agents and their drug-resistant variants.
