UVP Introduces the BioSpectrum® 800 Imaging System

UVP, LLC is announcing the latest addition to its advanced BioSpectrum Imaging Systems line up: the BioSpectrum 800 Imaging System. This system is a fully motorized and automated light tight darkroom with high resolution 8.3 megapixel image capture capability, the company says.

UVP claims that the fast capture time capability of the BioSpectrum 800, coupled with Nonlinear Dynamics SameSpots® Analysis Software ease of use, can accelerate and simplify the research lab workflow. The BioSpectrum 800 Imaging System accommodates a variety of gel sizes, making it an alternative to the expensive and slow 2D laser scanner systems on the market today.

“The release of the new BioSpectrum 800 Imaging System and the availability of the SameSpots® Analysis Software allows UVP to provide the same world class product, quality and service to the 2D electrophoresis market that we have provided the 1D electrophoresis market since 1988,” commented Alexander Waluszko, VP Sales/Marketing at UVP, LLC.
