Velocity11 has selected LabAutomation 2009 to launch a suite of new products and applications advances to increase productivity and decrease costs.

Featuring on Booth 327 - the new Direct Drive Robot (DDR) uses configurable Z-travel technology to enable stacking of instruments and functionality in a smaller footprint.

In the teach mode and using the teaching jig the robot can be freely moved to any location, once in the desired position press the button on the end effector. When the light blinks, the position is taught.

Featuring a host of new features - Velocity11 will also launch its new generation VWorks Automation Control Software. The new version of VWorks is a complete software solution that integrates and controls scheduling for all levels of automation from stand-alone liquid handlers to large integrated systems.

In addition, Velocity11 will be exhibiting several workstations highlighting the BenchCel and Bravo automation platforms demonstrating new application developments in compound management, ADMET and genomics.

As well as experiencing the new products and applications developments - Visitors will have the chance to attend a customer workshop. The workshop will show how the customer has integrated the TETRA 'Jellyfish' Reader onto the Velocity11 BioCel, and developed protocols to allow scheduling of Ca2+ flux assays, utilizing VWorks software.
