In patients with NSCLC, Electric Field–Induced Release and Measurement (EFIRM) can detect EGFR mutations directly in saliva. This enables clinicians to adjust their therapeutic strategies in a timely fashion, consequently improving the clinical outcome of EGFR-targeted therapy.
