Three Minute Thesis - Sponges in the Pipe: Enhancing In-sewer Purification, Tiffany Joan Sotelo

Tiffany Joan Sotelo presents her thesis “Sponges in the Pipe: Enhancing In-sewer Purification” around how enhancing bacterial populations in sewers can boost the purification of our waste.

The University of Tokyo held its first Three Minute Thesis competition on Saturday, May 11, 2019.  Fifteen Ph.D. students introduced their research in just three minutes using a single, static slide. Prizes included the People's Choice Award (chosen from audience ballots), a Runner-Up Award, and a Grand Prize Winner (who will represent UTokyo at the 2019 Asia-Pacific 3MT).
