Dr. Elizabeth F. Bayne is a senior scientist in analytical research and development at Merck Research Laboratories. Elizabeth earned her PhD in chemistry from the University of Wisconsin - Madison in 2023 under Professor Ying Ge, specializing in mass spectrometry-based intact protein analysis, multi-omics integration of proteomics and metabolomics data to better understand cardiac systems. Currently she is a member of the discovery analytical research team in Boston. In her role, she works in the preclinical development space for biotherapeutics to mitigate molecule liabilities, influence drug candidate selection and accelerate timelines to first-in-human clinical trials.
