Apoplastic Venom Allergen‐like Proteins of Cyst Nematodes Modulate the Activation of Basal Plant Innate Immunity by Cell Surface Receptors
We conclude that parasitic nematodes most likely utilize VAPs to suppress the activation of defenses by immunogenic breakdown products in damaged host tissue.

Progressing 3D Spheroid Analysis into a HTS Drug Discovery Method
This study demonstrates that the cell culture assay for tumorsphere size was successfully adapted to 384-well plate for a 3D spheroid assay using U-bottom low attachment 384-well and the Celigo Automated Imager for image acquisition and analysis. Moreover, the utilization of an imager provided insight on sphere and cell fate after long term drug treatment.

Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation: Are We There Yet?
This review poster comprises of the overall development of hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) as a therapy for variety of immuno compromised diseases since 1950 till date. It starts with the general information about hematopoietic stem cells, its sources as well as the types of HSCT. It also contains the role of mesenchymal stem cells in HSCT along with its present scenario and it ends with the future directions regarding HSCT.

Significant Increase of Sensitivity on Rapid Influenza Antigen Assays Using Silver Amplification Immunochromatography.
We have developed a new rapid bed-side assay system for in vitro diagnosis of infectious diseases, using “silver amplification method”, an application of photography-developing technology. The automatic analyzer brings results in fifteen minutes, enhancing sensitivity up to 1000 times compared to the conventional immunochromatography. We applied the technology for diagnosis of hospitalized children. The analyzer was useful for rapid and precise diagnosis of influenza A and B.

Automated Method to Determine Infectious Dose (TCID50)
Settings for each cell type and virus can be saved and re-used to assure objective results. Additional information such as cell health, cell cycle status can be determined from the same plates using Nexcelom designed applications. Time course studies can be carried out by scanning plates over several days/weeks allowing for additional information than may be generated by carrying out end-point assays alone.

Early Immunogenicity Risk Mitigation
The ability of a drug candidate to induce an unwanted immune response can be a significant hurdle during drug development and a reason for product failures. Unwanted immunogenicity can cause loss of efficacy, altered pharmacodynamics and stability problems. .
