Novel MALDI-TOF MS Workflow for Ultrahigh-Throughput Screening of Different Analytes

Originally, MALDI-TOF mass spectrometry, a label-free ultrahigh-throughput screening approach, was restricted to biochemical assays where substrates and products were small molecules, peptides and proteins. Recently, this approach has been extended to the screening of synthetic chemical reactions; the dramatic increase in the number of analytes provoked a need for a novel software workflow, with optimized data processing.
