AnaSpec Introduces Anti- ß-Amyloid

AnaSpec, Eurogentec Group has announced the release of two new mouse monoclonal antibodies specific for β-Amyloid (1-40) & (1-42).
These two antibodies are of the IgG1 subtype and do not cross-react with each other at concentrations up to 50 ng/ml when tested in sandwich ELISA.
They also do not cross-react with β-amyloid (1-37) and β-amyloid (1-38). Species reactivity includes human, mouse and rat.
The immunogen used in raising anti-β-amyloid (1-40) corresponds to amino acid 35-40 (MVGGVV), and for anti-β-amyloid (1-42), aa 35-42 (MVGGVVIA).
