LabSmith Sponsors Electrokinetics and Microfluidics Workshop
LACE 2011 (the 17th Latin-American Symposium on Biotechnology, Biomedical, Biopharmaceutical and Industrial Applications of Capillary Electrophoresis and Microchip Technology) will be held at the Hollywood Beach Marriott, Hollywood, Florida, USA, Dec 2-6, 2011.
The pre-symposium workshop, which will be held Saturday, December 3 from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Hollywood Beach Marriott, will be taught by Professor Blanca Lapizco-Encinas of Tennessee Technological University. The workshop will provide students with hands-on experience in electroosmotic flow, dielectrophoresis, particle imaging velocimetry, pressure-driven flow, programming electrokinetic injections and methods for visualizing microfluidics experiments.
