This lecture explains about the thin layer chromatography (TLC) technique. TLC principle is well explained with examples. Thin layer chromatography is the easy method to separate different types of chemical molecules from each other with the help of thin layer chromatography plate also known as the TLC plate. Thin layer chromatography separates molecules based on the differential movement rate in the tlc stationary phase which is calculated with the retention factor or Rf value.
