Communications Officer
Anna Stanescu is a science communication professional with an MSc in molecular biology from the University of Bologna. She has worked in international research institutes and discovered her passion for making complex scientific topics engaging and accessible. Currently, she is a communications officer at the Institute of Molecular Pathology (IMP) in Vienna, where she specializes in media engagement, strategic storytelling and digital outreach. Previously, she worked at the European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL), supporting the communications team in producing scientific news, managing social media and engaging with the press.
