Organoids

Often referred to as ‘mini-organs’, organoids are tiny self-organizing 3D assemblies of cells that show some physiological features of a specific organ.

Organoids promise to cut down on the need for animal testing and offer better models to study how human organs form and how that process goes awry in disease.
