ACD/Labs, a leading cheminformatics company, has announced the new release of their ACD/Spectrus Platform that enables organizations to apply chemical context to their spectroscopy, spectrometry, and chromatography content.
The ACD/Spectrus Platform makes it easier than ever for organizations to manage unified analytical data from multiple techniques and instruments, and combine it with chemical and structural information, in a vendor-agnostic homogeneous environment. The platform also enables raw or processed data from different instruments, across laboratories to be combined into a single uniform environment for processing, analysis, interpretation, reporting, storage, and re-use.
Key developments to the ACD/Spectrus Platform include performance enhancements to the informatics technology that delivers Unified Laboratory Intelligence to scientists and their organizations and key updates to the web platform.
"Despite the emergence of key informatics technologies like ELN, LIMS, and SDMS, researchers have acknowledged that a substantial gap still remains in how they automatically capture data for reporting, analysis, and decision-making," says Ryan Sasaki, Directory of Global Strategy at ACD/Labs. "The ACD/Spectrus Platform is helping our customers improve and maintain R&D productivity in a variety of different markets and sub-disciplines."
The Spectrus advancements will impact groups that work in areas such as preformulation, extractables and leachables, DMPK (particularly understanding and documenting the fate of molecular entities), organic synthesis, and labs focused on impurity control, identification, and characterization.
